The traverse collection was my first collection created when I moved from the Midwest to Colorado. This collection was an exploration of various styles and mediums with painting while capturing the landscapes I was spending much of my time exploring in the western mountains. My only plan for this collection was to simply explore in my painting practice as I was exploring the new terrain around me. It has been a beautiful process to not only experience, enjoy and receive the beauty around me but to take that beauty and create more beauty from it.
